Geoff’s one of those tradesmen who genuinely cares about what he does and also wants to do the best job possible. We had a big job for a driveway cleaning company: to clean a large tarmac drive  (around 60 metres by 10 metres, ) pathway,  and brickwork within a communal development – no small feat.

I called GK Exterior Cleaning after seeing a recommendation on the Nextdoor app, to see if he could come to the development and walk through what we needed, thinking it might take a few weeks to book that in: Geoff came within the hour. He explained clearly what his recommendations were, and what alternatives could be, and sent me a detailed quote that day.

He was absolutely brilliant at keeping in touch regarding timings, schedules, updates and arrivals by WhatsApp and email– he (and his business partner Lucas) arrived on time, if not slightly early and their quote was extremely reasonable. Most importantly, they did an amazing job: they transformed the drive, were tidy and efficient – and they worked non-stop, on what ended up being the hottest day of the year.

If you think how much mess is left after a job like this: weeds, moss, sand and silt – they left the premises spotless. Exemplary service. Geoff did a superb job when he cleaned some inaccessible guttering on my home. His punctuality, pricing along with polite and professional manner were also beyond reproach.
